How do I pay for any items bought at the airport?

Please put cash in the black Payments Box attached to the wall in the Pilot’s Lounge.

May I park my aircraft in the hangar overnight?

It depends on the space availability. We have several that store their aircraft inside the hangar. If space is unavailable in the hangar, we do have tie downs available for use at no cost.

How long may I take the courtesy car?

The courtesy car may be taken off-property for a maximum of 2 hours. No overnight use permitted. This allows others to take advantage of the vehicle as well.

If the vehicle is needed for a longer duration, we suggest renting a car from Hertz or Enterprise at Boone County Regional Airport. The car can be delivered to the Buffalo River airport with 24 hours notice.

Where are the best places to eat in Searcy County?

What’s a trip somewhere new without grabbing a bite at a local spot? Some favorites include Daisy Queen, Los Locos Mexican, Boston Mountain Pizza, Red River Cafe (best chicken and dumplings every Wednesday!), Skylark Cafe, and Ferguson’s Country Store and Restaurant.

If I leave 4A5, how do I renter the property?

If you take the courtesy car, there is a gate opener in the vehicle that will let you back onto airport property.

If you leave the property in another vehicle and need to get back into the gate, the code is the CTAF # for the airport.

May I bring my animal?

Buffalo River Airport (4A5) and Richland Creek Airfield (4AR9) are pet friendly. Animals must be kept on leash and owners must pick up any pet waste during their stay.
